Our band and cheer squad marched in the Fountain Hills Thanksgiving Day parade. It was a lot of fun. Thank you to our parents who kept us hydrated and fed. A big shout out to Ms. May for organizing this fun event.
On Wednesday, November 8, DCMS families dined at Chipotle and supported our PTO. We pulled in a whopping $300 to sprinkle some magic on our school, cool teachers, amazing staff, and the most fabulous students around!
Big high-fives to all the rad folks who rolled in for the dine-in fiesta or snagged some tasty goodness to-go. You made it a night to remember!
Pies for Daaazzze
A HUGE thank you to everyone who signed up and donated a pie, or 2, or 3 for our annual Season of Giving Pie Donation OR donated to our teacher appreciation fund. A total of 60 pies were donated! Every teacher and staff member left school last Wednesday with a delicious apple, pumpkin, pecan, or cherry pie. 🥧

DCMS Season of Giving continues with our Gift Card Drive! Help us reach our goal of 80 $10 gift cards by December 15. We aim to gift every teacher and staff member this year.

Are you Kandi the Cat's new home?
My babies and I were cared for by a sweet lady who had no home. Nice people came along and convinced her to relinquish us so we could all find a suitable home where we would be safe, loved, and fed. After two litters of kittens, my tiny body is recovering and needing to gain weight.
I am as sweet as my name. I love people and love a lot of attention. I will come when you call and will follow you around. I will show my affection with head butts and purrs. I might be a little scared and skittish once you get me home, but once I adjust, you'll see my personality flourish.
I am great on a harness & leash! While I was at Petco, the volunteers put the harness on me, attached the leash and away we went! I wasn't so crazy about getting dressed, but once the harness was on, I became an explorer! I checked their inventory, made new friends with the guinea pigs (well ... I tried - through the glass), stood straight up on my back legs to get a good view of the parakeets, and I climbed all over the shelves to inspect for cleanliness and safety.
If you are looking for a feline companion and want someone who wants your time and attention, I will reciprocate your love and follow you around. You will get a lot of satisfaction as you see me eat and gain weight. I am not the cat that will ignore you. I'm the cat who always wants to be around you.
While I can be around other cats if they keep their distance my TRUE desire is to be your one and only star. So please only make me your forever princess if I am your ONLY, promise I will reward and shower you with love!
